ArtsGoggle With The J.O. Crew

If you know J.O., you know we are serious art lovers. In fact, J.O. president, Jennifer Henderson, started her own art gallery right here in our building. Gallery 440 was formed because Jennifer, a fine artist in her own right, began collecting mid-century paintings from area auctions and sales. Picking up anything that caught her eye, she amassed a collection of work that includes landscapes, nudes, portraits, pop art and abstracts. Her collection is permanently on display in our building at 440 S. Main and the Gallery 440 online gallery.

Because we love art and because we love our neighborhood, J.O. and Gallery 440 love to participate in local events that support Fort Worth artists, like Fort Worth South, Inc.'s ArtsGoggle.

ArtsGoggle will take place on Saturday, October 11th, 2014 from 12 p.m.-10 p.m. and will feature more than 350 artists and 80 bands. This year, ArtsGoggle will coincide with the Ardent Creative Grand Opening celebration. Ardent Creative is a digital creative agency now sharing space with J.O. and Gallery 440, so it's only appropriate that this month's Gallery 440 featured Artist is Ardent's Brad Ball.

If you get excited about seeing your favorite Fort Worth South businesses transform into fine art galleries, we invite you to join us. Check out the art, tour Ardent's new digs, and support the talents of local artists and musicians.

Brad Ball describes his paintings as "realism with a touch of expressionism." See his work here.
