Mobile apps can make a world of difference when trying to effectively manage your marketing. The role of the marketer is constantly shifting and there are thousands of different apps. Sometimes it’s hard to know which ones are worth your money, time, and effort. Here is a list of five different apps that are helping today’s marketers do their jobs efficiently and effectively. Leaving them more time to let their creative juices flow.

#1 Buffer

Buffer allows marketers to manage their various social media platforms through scheduling and linking on a daily basis. It also provides access to data for analysis of the engagement each account is receiving. Buffer is the app we’ve chosen to highlight, but there are many social media managing tools out there that also help marketers organize their various accounts.

#2 Slack

Slack is a communication tool that allows teams and offices to easily and quickly communicate with each other. Within the app, companies can build groups, both public and private, where they can communicate with each other about projects, meetings and assignments. It also enables users to direct message each other without having to use email or texting. Its most significant key feature makes it possible for marketers to rapidly send documents and files to each other without having to worry about document size.

#3 Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo can be helpful when trying to keep up with the trends of today’s social media world. Buzzsumo gives marketers the ability to look back and identify which topics were gaining traction and attention across all different social media platforms. It provides an abundance of data to help marketers gain a greater understanding not only of their own metrics, but also those of widely trending topics. Finally, Buzzsumo makes it possible for marketers to easily search for and connect with influencers. It has a search component that identifies influencers that match with the topic or brand you’re interested in.

#4 Mention

Mention is an essential media monitoring app that helps marketers track what is being said about their firm or clients online. It notifies users when designated keywords are used on both social media and general websites. Tracking exposure is a crucial element of reporting the success of a campaign and this app makes it easy!

#5 Trello

Trello mainly functions as a planning and project management app. If you’re someone who likes to check things off of a to-do list, then this is the app for you. This app enables teams to connect and stay in the know about assigned, updated and completed projects as well as a calendar for all of those important “can’t miss” meetings.

Each of these apps brings something different to the table, but ultimately their job is to make the marketer’s job a little easier!

Cheers,
J.O.
