Thrill-Seeker, Public Relations Specialist And Activist: J.O. Hires Erika Aguirre

I'm sure that you've heard by now that J.O. has hired a new Public Relations Account Executive. Erika Aguirre, a Houston transplant, joined the J.O. team in March. In fact, on her very first day she drove from across town IN AN ICE STORM. If you think that's impressive, wait until we list the highlights from her resume.

To start it off, she's bilingual, fluently speaking both English and Spanish. She not only knows public relations and social media, she designs websites too. If that isn't enough, she started her own nonprofit organization to raise awareness for female genocide and sex trafficking. And for a little icing on this multi-tiered cake, she's also a member of Toastmasters.

I'm sure you must be imaging a middle-aged woman who's been in the industry for decades. Still in her twenties and only two years out of college, Erika has built this extensive resume working for high profile agencies and PR firms while attending the University of Houston.

Erika is not "all business all the time." In her spare time, she enjoys a more relaxed approach to life, doing things like jumping off cliffs, scuba diving, tagging along on crime scene investigations in Mexico and zip lining. You know, boring, run-of-the-mill type stuff.

As you can imagine, we're thrilled to have this thrill-seeker, PR pro and multi-talented humanitarian on the team. Welcome to J.O. (and Fort Worth), Erika.

Cheers,

J.O.
