Meet Lisa Powers, I mean, Miller. (She was recently married, so she will probably answer to either.) Lisa is J.O.'s new manager of business development, which means if you're browsing our site while shopping for an advertising, PR or marketing agency, Lisa is the person you should talk to first.
Born in Houston, Lisa moved to Austin to attend UT but ended up staying for ten years as she worked her way up at the State Capitol from unpaid intern to chief-of-staff for a state representative.
In 2008, Lisa moved to Fort Worth to work in public affairs for an energy company before becoming the president of the Camp Bowie District. Now, she's bringing her skill for making things happen to J.O. And we love making things happen.
An avid UT football fan, Lisa also enjoys traveling (Barcelona and Dublin are standouts), visiting museums, cooking and spending time with friends and family—preferably outdoors. We mentioned she was recently married, and the ceremony was held in Ernest Hemingway's house in Key West, Florida. How cool is that?
Her new role means she will probably be the first person you encounter from J.O., so when she welcomes you here, you can welcome her here right back.
