The Challenge

Jan Barboglio is a world-renowned designer based in Dallas. She reached out to J.O. to assist in the promotion of her annual five-day sale event, Spirit of the Vault. J.O. took the event by the horns and the outcome was more than anyone expected.

The Solution

J.O. wrote a press release and pitched it to more than 50 media contacts in the DFW area. As part of the digital campaign, J.O. implemented social media ads on Facebook targeting Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. The event was also posted to a number of community and culture online calendars. Additional tactics included a mailed post card and brief email campaign.

The Result

The results of the event were incredible. On the first day of the sale, patrons of Barboglio’s work lined the sidewalk around the building waiting for their opportunity to experience the Spirit of the Vault. This continued during the next four days of the event. Overall, 530 people visited the sale and a total of $360,000 of revenue was earned, exceeding the goals set at the start of the project.
