When you’re the transportation authority for the sixth fastest-growing city in the nation, located in a bustling metropolitan area like DFW, you’re much more in the business of innovation and ease than simply public transit.

At least, that’s what Trinity Metro strives for — empowering people to “Make Your Move” to exciting places across the metroplex. And now, Trinity Metro is offering travel to a new destination. Service to DFW International Airport via TEXRail, Trinity Metro’s new light rail service with expanded destinations and amenities.

From "Make Your Move" to "Time To Train"

Launching in early January 2019, TEXRail opens up a world of possibilities. Its service to DFW Airport means connection to the rest of the world. It means everyone has a window seat to new and exciting places. It means the people of our metropolitan community can share their skills and talents with the whole world.

Honing those talents takes hard work, though. It takes time, practice, sweat-equity… training.

DFW's Got Talent

Through our integrated campaign teasing TEXRail’s launch — in print ads, radio spots, social media videos and website graphics — we showcased local talent to convey the importance of time saved and ease of connection. We rallied the community to show, no matter who you are or how you spend your time and talents, Trinity Metro’s TEXRail can take you where you need to go.

And the community responded — with more than 11,000 people riding TEXRail in its first weekend alone. Within the first 12 days, the number was up to 55,000. So, how many people have taken TEXRail since service began in early January, you ask? Nearly 83,000. And the numbers are still rollin’ in.
